The Colonial Curling Association is a volunteer-run club that was formed in 2016 by a group of curlers with a similar vision to expand curling in the Central MA/Metrowest area.
Originally renting ice at an Arena in Marlborough (MA), the club was named the Marlborough Curling Club. Over the years, the club moved from Marlborough to Westborough, and eventually to the Worcester Ice Center in the Spring of 2020. As the name became increasingly inaccurate, the club decided to rename themselves as the Colonial Curling Association to reflect both the expansion of the Club and the history that surrounds us in New England.
The club was officially recognized by the Grand National Curling Club (Regional Organization covering the Eastern US), in June of 2016, and by USA Curling at their Annual Meeting in October of 2017.
