YIACBWECYCIM (the "YAK") 2026!

This one-day event is being held at the Worcester Ice Center on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Due to overwhelming demand in the past, the YAK will again be open to thirty-two teams! Every team is guaranteed three games. Watch this space for more information as we get closer.

The YAK is open to curlers of all skill and experience levels, including those who have never curled before. The YAK is not a typical bonspiel but is instead a celebration of curling after the close of the regular Massachusetts bonspiel season. Experienced teams are encouraged to register and can expect a friendly competition against other experienced competitors. Less experienced teams are likewise encouraged to register and get the experience of a curling competition in a low-pressure environment. The efforts of beginning teams are recognized with the giving of the "YAK award" to the team from the less-competitive bracket that loses all its matches.

We look forward to seeing you!
